The Judogi JOA, nicknamed Sensei, was KuSakura's first exported Judogi. It was the one that created the brand's reputation of being the best Judogi manufacturer in the world.

Weighing 890 g/m, this model is the heaviest Judogi we offer. The jacket is designed in a traditional manner from double-layered sashiko (rice grain) fabric, on the upper part and hishisashi (diamond weave) on the lower part.
The sashiko fabric used for the upper part of the Judogi was specially developed to create roughness on the outside, that complicates the partner's grasp while remaining soft on the inside for great comfort.
This Judogi is no longer conforms to international competition standards since the new regulations of 2015, it however stillanswers the purpose of local, regional, and national competitions in most countries (including e.g. United States, United Kingdom, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Canada).
